  • Abstract
    This paper introduces a DSP-based network monitoring intelligent management system for power supply safety on campus. The system applies Demyer wavelet load current analysis technology. It has automatic control and identification on load level and characteristics. Because frequency of power network fluctuates, the system utilizes phase-locked technology to produce synchronized multiple frequency pulse with respect to the AC power. So integer-period sampling of voltage and current of load is realized. The developed system significantly reduces the fire risk on campus and solves the accurate power measurement problem. The paper briefs the system software and hardware architecture. It has been approved that the developed system is a safe and reliable tool for central power supply department of universities.
