Abstract :
This article adopted the finite element method (FEM) to analyze and compare the stress value of FROMO® preload nut of the SN series and the improved structural product-SSN series. The analysis result shows that: (1)By reasonable select numerical model, we can predict the stress value of FROMO® preload nut. (2)By redesigning the size of nut, the product is improved. The stress value of the SSN series is lower than the SN series, it can improve the performance of the stress and increase the strength, which provide the basis of structural designing improvement.
