Abstract :
Scope of application of generalized modular design is discussed on the base of the generalized modular design and its relative concepts, and the technology of product reconfiguration is introduced on the regulation of reconfigurable product family, modeling, module expansion & assembling. An example of product family of hydraulic press machine is given to illustrate the theory and methodology of generalized modular design.
