Abstract
The requirements for a complete digital audio conversion system for surround sound and other multi-channel applications are presented along with design specifications. An integrated solution containing three ADCs, six DACs, analog mux, S/PDIF receiver, volume control, digital de-emphasis filters, SP7 and 12C compatible control port, and configurable serial ports delivers a flexible, area efficient, high performance system for multi-channel applications.
