Abstract :
A new designed TV system modeling software, based on a modern multipurpose off the shelf simulator program, is described in this paper. The software was written in a block simulation language, which makes the TV system development, analysis of performance, understanding and presentation much simpler than with a conventional computer language. A particular TV system can be created with the designed software, by graphically selecting with a mouse the required components from a specially designed and extensive library. The proposed TV system design method bas shown to be very versatile, accurate and simple, for the analysis of performance of TV systems, by allowing the simulation of any kind of distortion measurements like differential gain, differential phase, linearity, incidental phase, group delay, etc.
