Abstract :
LTCC dual-band filters consisting of a transition together with stripline and waveguide resonators are proposed based on two controllable mechanisms. Here, the quarter-wavelength conductor-backed coplanar waveguide (CBCPW) situated on the top metal plane is served as a transition which can excite both stripline and waveguide modes. The two passbands are realized by adopting coupled stripline and waveguide resonators so as to fully utilize the multilayer structure surrounded by via holes which constitute the boundary of the waveguide circuits. In this study, two multilayer dual-band filters with both stripline and waveguide filters are demonstrated and implemented.
