Abstract :
A compact CP microstrip antenna for GPS and CNSS applications is presented. There are two pairs of slots on the patch, and an unequal cross-slot on the ground plane. Both the (-10dB return loss) input impedance bandwidth and the 3dB bandwidth of axial ratio are widened by introducing the unequal cross-slot, which can cover 1,57GHz and 2.62GHz. The size is 0.27λg×0.27λg for 1.57GHz.
