Abstract
In this paper, we present a bandpass filter using FPCB (Flexible Printed Circuit Board). A novel FPCB bandpass filter is proposed and implemented using a coplanar waveguide (CPW), aiming at transmitting the signals in the passband of 2.4-2.5GHz. It is composed of two quarter-wavelength resonators and coupling patterns. The coupling patterns are composed of broadside and cross coupling configuration in bottom side. After optimization of this filter, a good bandpass behavior with two transmission poles is theoretically realized and experimentally confirmed. Within the whole BPF passband, the return loss is found better than 26dB, and the insertion loss is less than 1dB.
