Abstract :
This paper treats a design method of lumped-element dual-band Wilkinson power dividers using series and parallel LC-resonant circuits based on a frequency transformation. Applying the frequency transformation to an inductance and a capacitance of a LC-ladder circuit type Wilkinson power divider, dual-band divider with relative bandwidths of 12.4% and 12.3% at two operating frequency regions can be obtained. Furthermore, using a two-section LC-ladder circuit type Wilkinson power divider, bandwidth improvement of about 30% can be obtained. The validity of this design procedure is also shown by em-simulations and experiments.
