Abstract :
A circularly polarized broadband antenna with an L-shaped feed probe is proposed. A rectangular slot is fashioned in an L-shaped slot antenna in order to enhance the axial ratio and input impedance. This structure achieves a -10 dB S11 characteristic of 64.8% and a -3 dB axial ratio of 74.4%. The radiation patterns for different frequencies also reveal good agreement between the simulation and measurement results for the S11 characteristic and the axial ratio.
