Abstract :
This paper presents the impact of reader antenna performance on read range of a fully printable multi-resonator based chipless RFID system. Three types of antennas - an omni-directional monopole, a dipole reflector and a 2×2-array of dipole reflector are used to examine the efficiency of the reader. The 2×2-array dipole reflectors gives the largest read range of approximately 110 mm.
