Abstract :
In this paper, the partial element equivalent circuit (PEEC) model is applied to strip-lines analysis in high speed circuit design. The mathematical formulation of the PEEC model is derived. By using thin-film and quasi-static Green´s function for strip-line structures, the details of the application of PEEC model to strip-lines are introduced, The computational results for parallel strip-lines are compared with IE3D software. Simulation results show that the Y parameters from PEEC method and IE3D method are agreed well with each other.
