Abstract :
Ultra high frequency (UHF) radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology has moved to mainstream usage. Depending on specific applications, various RFID tag antenna designs have been proposed with characteristics specifically tailored for that application. In this paper, a novel, yet simple, antenna design suitable for cable identification purposes is developed and compared to other, more common antenna designs.
