  • Abstract
    The paper discusses an aircraft banking angle indicator (ExBAMDI). The paper presents ExBAMDI Means-Plus Functions, elements that illustrate an artificial intelligent signal that alert the pilots of a critical banking angle position and guides the pilots to a safe banking angle attitude before losing control of an aircraft. It is the purpose of the paper to show a need to consider this type of avionics flight attitude indicator in today´s general aviation aircraft. The (ExBAMDI) is an Excessive Banking Angle Monitor Direction Indicator, providing highly readable outputs that readily identify an excessive banking angle for improving the pilot´s situational awareness in the cockpits. It aids the pilot´s performance during steep banking and turning maneuvers that require the pilots to use power changes and flight control inputs for any flight procedures and configurations.
