Abstract :
A comparison of narrow-band (NB) and ultra-wideband (UWB) communication systems is presented. The requirements to standards on restrictions of a frequency band and radiated emission of UWB and NB systems are surveyed. The analysis of an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of NB and UWB systems is carried out. The example of parameters´ calculation of UWB communication system, operating in the same frequency band as the NB systems, is given. The expediency of joint application of both systems is shown.
