  • Abstract
    We ran series of computer simulations to gain insight into performance of registration procedure for next-generation Ethernet passive optical networks, as described by IEEE standard 802.3av. The results show that it is possible to find the optimal combination of network and protocol parameters which maximizes the link utilization.
