Abstract :
Analysis and experimental research on the phenomenon and mechanism of arc generation between two phases of power system were carried out. Four physical effects which resulted in the generation of electric arc were described. The clearing characteristics of general conductive filaments were analyzed. The efficient filaments clearing methods were explored. The research results are helpful for the power system to recover the electricity distribution capability rapidly after the attack of graphite bombs.
