Abstract :
Main connection modes of MV distribution network and their applicable conditions in Shanghai are introduced first. Supply ability, reliability level and economical efficiency of each mode are analyzed in detail. Connection modes of typical districts are recommended combined with the regional characteristics. On the basis of the above analysis, two examples: typical residential districts in towns and central regions under progress of overhead lines reformation, are given in the end of the paper to show the strategies of planning and optimization of the distribution network in typical districts of cities.
