Abstract :
The author has worked out a solution to the electricity data collection problem which integrated the various communication methods, and developed the products such as electricity data collection system master station, multi-functional concentrator, multi functional collectors and repeaters. After deep analysis on the different communication methods, the author has proposed three methods for the remote communication via EPON communication, public wireless network communication and ZigBee communication, five methods for the local communication via low-voltage broadband carrier wave communication, low voltage narrowband carrier wave communication, ZigBee communication, Ethernet communication, CAN communication. Furthermore, in order to increase the reliability and real-time communication, the author has proposed a double-path collection system. The integrated electricity data collection system as proposed in this thesis fits the needs from all geographic and equipment environment of different users, this is really a practical solution for the electricity data collection problem and is very valuable to be introduced to the industry.
