Abstract :
Some of the inherent features of electric distribution systems are that the system includes an extremely large number of equipments and few links between different feeders. Based on these features, a network topology algorithm feeder oriented is proposed in this paper. A Circuit is a collection of conducting equipments, branch-circuits, and pole-mounted switches and is divided into a number of feeder segments by section switches. A Circuit generally starts with a switching device, located in a substation to an open switch (radial circuit), or to a second substation (ring circuit). It proposes modified models for distribution lines such as Ring, Circuit, and Circuit Section based on the IEC 61968/61970 CIM model. Using these models, topology processing is divided into three steps: feeder Analysis, ring analysis, and network analysis.
