Abstract
This paper discusses the necessity of synchronous generator leading phase operation adjusting voltage, combined with Jiangsu power grid generator leading phase operation experiment situation. It proposed that generator leading phase operation is a convenient and economic voltage regulation means of power grid. Characteristics of 600 MW synchronous generator leading phase operation are studied through many experiments, the main restriction factors of large generator leading phase operation are analyzed. At last, the paper put forward a new concept that multi-generators coordinate integral leading phase operation, and look forward to the future research direction.
