Abstract

The State Grid has got great breakthrough in Ultra-high Voltage, building the strong smart grid is a new great transformation and innovation in the grid development, and the smart electric distribution network is an important part of the smart grid strategy. According to the goals of building a unified strong smart grid, this paper discusses the develop trends of the protection system in the smart electric distribution network. Combining with the working status of the relay protection in a power supply company, this paper gives some prospect of the relay protection working in the smart electric distribution network, it is a exploration about the future works of the Relay Class in the smart electric distribution network.
