Abstract
This work presents a method of calibrating 3D magnetic sensors based on Hall devices by arbitrary rotations in a uniform magnetic field without any mechanisms for exact sensor positioning. All Hall devices of a 3D sensor are assumed to be orthogonal and have linear field characteristics at least in weak magnetic fields (<; 500 mT).
