Abstract :
Today´s students have the frontal lobe of their brains stimulated by video games, television, cellular devices, and instantaneous Web-based communication for many hours each day. One of the common causes of boredom in the classroom is students´ perception that the methods of how the curriculum is delivered to them are irrelevant to how they learn. There is a perception that class assignments or tasks are irrelevant. Why work hard when what you´re working on doesn´t seem to matter Jensen, (2005) [1] The teachers in today´s classrooms face the challenge of making standardized curriculum rich and relevant for the students who have instant access to anything that they want to learn on their own. As all educational stakeholders recognise that it is time, right now, for educational systems to develop strategies that connect with students that need to be successful in a complex, interconnected 21st century world. FUNecole® is a holistic philosophy approach that enables the development of ICT skills and cultivation of new forms of education that extent beyond technology enhancement and integration in teaching and learning. This paper aims to give solid evidence of the implementation of FUNecole® curriculum in 4 countries and 4 different EU languages.
