Vadeo: Social network for people with reduced mobility

People with reduced mobility have great difficulties moving around in the city. They lack a tool where they can identify with precision the inaccessible spots on a map. A solution to this problem is presented: Vadeo is a social network where users share information about the level of accessibility of their neighbourhood. An iterative development process was followed in order to gather user requirements. It was tested by real users, providing valuable feedback that increases the understanding of needs of people with reduced mobility. The benefits of our solution are several: users become active parts of society by broadening their area of movement, knowing in advance the level of accessibility of any given place and creating a stronger community worried about quality content.
