Abstract :
A compact continuously tunable phase shifter is presented employing integrated varactors based on screen printed BST thick film. The circuit is based on loaded delay line topology. The proposed phase shifter has a size of 3.8 mm2 for 122° phase shift at 10 GHz. The prototyped phase shifter shows a figure of merit of up to 36°/dB. This work demonstrates a simple and low cost technology for tunable microwave components.
