Abstract :
A ventricular model is presented whose thick wall is composed of both muscle tissue and coronary vessels. Biomechanics of cardiac wall is considered to include the proper effects of the forces generated by muscle fibres and coronary pressure. Anisotropy of myocardium is also taken in account Deformations of the cylindrical model in axial direction, radial direction and torsion are shown during a cardiac cycle.
