Abstract :
Late Potentials are usually recovered by signal averaging techniques. Some recent studies have commented on the use of Adaptive Filtering Techniques for the detection of these ventricular potentials on a beat-to-beat basis. This paper reports on an evaluation of the technique of Adaptive Line Enhancement in this role. The technique was evaluated using both actual and simulated KCG signals. The ensemble of results suggests that the technique is unsuitable for the application.
