Abstract :
This paper describes the development of a computer system for decision support in the management of patients with hyperlipidaemia. It illustrates how a Causal Probabilistic Network representation may be used to suggest treatment for lipid disorders to minimise an individual´s risk of Coronary Heart Disease.
