Abstract :
The Clinical Engineering Department at the General hospital of Bolzano (Italy) has been istituted in 1989 and has now 12 collaboratores, 1 graduated engineer, 2 officemens and 9 technicians. Since that date the maintenance costs could be significantly lowered and the breakdown time reduced.
