            Abstract : 
A ergonomic digital breast X-ray image system has been developed using digitizacion and digital processing of conventional film mammograms. The system comprises a frame grabber and a PC-based general purpose digital image processor, to which peripherals have been added to facilitate X-ray handling. The software has been developed to be as ergonomic as possible by using windows pull-down menus and a souse is possible to use to facilitate its operation by the radiologist.
