Abstract :
A system is described for use as a neural prosthetic controller in humans that is undergoing testing in sub-human primates. It provides transcutaneous power induction for ultra long-term use of devices that monitor neural activity in the motor cortex. These neural signals will be used to control muscle stimulators and other prosthetic devices.
