Abstract :
Low back pain patients were treated four times with manipulation treatment. Effectiveness of treatment was examined by surface EMG using integration and power spectrum analysis. There was an increase in median frequency after initial treatment. IEMG showed changes after manipulative treatment. The changes in the slope EMG versus load levels stayed the same after the course of treatment. This indicates that the effect of treatment was not temporary.
