Abstract :
Direct 3D single photon emission tomography (SPECT) using a few number of projections is performed by Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) of the spread funtions matrix. Proper handling of negative values leads to right quantitative results. Location and activity of small sources are recovered using at least 4 projections.
