  • Abstract
    A convergence criterion is derived for the multipole expansion of the finite medium potential on an inhomogeneous volume conductor. Furthermore, the multipole transformation matrix is derived, which describes the behaviour of the multipole moments under a general translation. The importance of a thorough study of the multipolar convergence is pointed out.
