Abstract :
Base on the feature of a multi-processing system KD-60, a Web-based monitoring system is proposed, and the key points of its module design and implementation are given. By real-time monitoring operation status and load conditions, and remote controlling processing units, the monitoring system provides a solution for KD-60 to increase resource utilization and reduce power consumption. The monitoring system consists of two subsystems: the processing unit monitoring system and the processing unit controlling system. Processing unit monitoring system is mainly used to monitor basic load and operational status of processing unit, processing unit controlling system is mainly used to control the processing unit. The processing unit monitoring system gets information by reading some specific files under /proc file system, and then acquires the operational status and load of the processing units. The processing unit controlling system controls processors and fans through microcontroller unit. The monitoring system makes use of hierarchical model to obtain good adaptability. By using synthesis design of C/S and B/S modes, the monitoring system is easy to use and maintain. The practical operation and experiment results show that, the monitoring system has good stability and high efficiency.
