  • Abstract
    As the traditional manual rice chalkiness detection lacks objectivity, this paper puts forward a measurement based on the image processing technique. First, the principle of measuring rice chalkiness with computer image processing technique is introduced; then how to identify the rice and chalkiness parts in the testing sample picture is described, and the method used to analyze the rice chalkiness is also presented. At last, this rice chalkiness detection method is verified by an experiment, and the result shows this method is impersonal, exact, quick and repeated, and can be used widely.
