Abstract :
A compact spiral antenna for broadband and circularly polarized operations is proposed. Size miniaturization is based on phase velocity reduction. Size reduction using antenna miniaturization techniques is considered and explored through the application of meandering lines and resistive loading. The designed antenna was implemented and measured, which achieved a 50% size reduction.
