Abstract :
A method of ultra-broadband strip-coaxial transition is described in this paper to settle connection problem. Decreasing the width of strip-line at strip-coaxial transition junction is adopted in the transition structure to eliminate the discontinuousness and gain an ultra-broadband with 1~18 GHz (vswr<;1.05 and loss<;0.06dB). An example is analyzed and simulated. The method is applied in 2-ways power divider to validate the design validity and a good performance is gained.
