Abstract :
In this paper, a 2 × 2 power splitting/combining structure based on branch-waveguide directional coupler and waveguide-to-microstrip transitions is presented. Experimental results show that the insertion loss is less than 1dB with return loss better than 12dB over the frequency band of 29GHz to 31GHz. The size of the whole system is only 90mm × 50mm × 25mm, and it can be perfectly applied to high power combining systems.
