Analytically-designed multi-beam arrays with predictable sidelobes

An analytical methodology is proposed for the synthesis of multi-beam arrays with predictable sidelobes. The methodology extends the interleaved architectures derived from Almost Difference Sets to allow more than two independent functions to be supported by the same aperture. A preliminary numerical assessment is presented to assess the features and potentialities as well as limitations of the proposed synthesis method.
