Abstract
This paper presents a power angle profile (PAP) measurement campaign at the millimetre-wave band. Angular profiles were measured in different indoor topographies such as offices, corridors and a residence. Detailed angle-of-arrival (AoA) shape factors were derived, describing the spatial properties of the millimeter wave channel. The measurement results were related to the site-specific environments and correlation between the propagation condition and the multipath channel structure was observed. Finally, from the measurement results, it is found that the PAPs can be modeled as a finite scatterer model with a direct component plus multipath arriving within a variable sector α.
