Abstract :
An ultra miniature coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed antenna has been designed for digital video broadcasting-terrestrial (DVB-T) signals reception around 474 MHz on channel 21 in France. Despite the very compact footprint of the antenna, its exhibits a relatively high realized gain of -0.5 dB which provides good receiving TV-signals in terms of image and sound quality with a bit error rate (BER) smaller than 1.0e-7.
