Abstract
The concept of intertwining planar spirals recently proposed for quadrifilar spirals is shown to be applicable to spiral arrays with other lattice symmetries and complementary layouts. In particular, the features of trifilar and hexafilar intertwined spirals arranged in doubly periodic arrays with triangular and hexagonal lattices are discussed.
