Abstract :
This paper presents various configurations of slot-ring resonators providing compact phase-shifting cells for reflectarrays. The phase response is achieved by controlling length of the slot by a capacitive loading. A technique to reduce the number of loading capacitances is then discussed. In addition, a double-slot ring is proposed to improve the bandwidth.
