Abstract
This contribution is focused on experimental results derived from our dual wave length experimental FSO link attenuation measurement. The used wavelengths are 830 nm and 1550 nm while the path length being 60 m. This link is located at the “Milesovka” hill (837 m.a.s.l) situated 70 km north to Prague. This study is dealing step by step with fog attenuation, attenuation due to wind turbulences (i.e. attenuation due to refractivity index non-homogenity) and with hybrid links using the reserve radio links in the case of big attenuation on FSO links.
