The future of computational electromagnetics: Science or product

As every year, the EuRAAP Working Group on software is organizing a convened session on numerical techniques/software at EuCAP. This year the goal is to have a more industrially oriented session with the theme: “The future of computational electromagnetics: science or product”. The idea is that 25 years ago, all development was done in research environments. Nowadays, quite some development is done at research and development premises of tool vendors. A lot of questions can be raised concerning this theme. These questions are addressed in this session, both from the perspective of academia and industry.
