Abstract :
In this paper a compact broadband antenna is proposed. It consists of a coplanar-fed monopole printed on a cheap FR4 substrate. Numerical and experimental results will be reported demonstrating that a relative impedance bandwidth of about 50% can be obtained with very compact dimensions.
