Abstract
Spectral-domain full-wave approach for cylindrical radially non-uniform structures based on the matrix technique is described. Scattering properties of a circular conducting cylinder coated with a layered material are investigated analytically. The behavior of the scattered field in the far zone is illustrated with numerical results for different coating material types including materials with negative refractive index. Approaches for minimization of reflection and radar visibility protection are offered.
