Abstract :
A dual-frequency metamaterials-inspired antenna design is proposed. A wideband elliptically shaped dipole is placed between two meta-surfaces, which work at different frequency bands. This structure leads to a low-profile highly directive antenna design, which radiates at a different half-space at each frequency band.
